Very pleased with the pump. I am using it for a water fall with 5 feet elevation and 9 feet length. It is perfect for the project and pumps plenty of water to make look very natural with the great bubbling sound I was trying to achieve. Because it is so powerful I had to be creative to not make the water spray all over the place at the top, a flower pot placed over the end of the tubing did the trick.

I bought this to replace another brand that continued to fail. That was a 1300gph pump, and this Beckett model appears to offer more power. I also like that the pump can be operated on the side (pictured) or vertical, since vertical works much better in our 3 stream waterfall. Great price...great pump!

I have been through three pumps in one year due to the bearings wearing out. The last pump lasted less than three months. I have a different brand pump that has lasted over six years in the same pond so that tells me that this pump is not built with quality parts. Never again will I purchase a Beckett product.
